    Label:

The bottle is colored a little differently than standard Texas Pete but looks similar. I removed some points because I don’t like the drip spout and because of the lack of availability of the larger pour bottles like are available with the standard Texas Pete.

    Looks:

It’s red and similar to standard Texas Pete

    Aroma:

It’s smells vinagery and acidic. The smell by itself isn’t undesirable but also isn’t particularly great. Mixing this sauce with melted butter is my go to wing sauce and that does produce a really nice peppery smell once tossed with the wings

    Taste:

I love it. It’s very similar to standard Texas Pete. It’s vinager, water, cayenne and salt. This is a high sodium hot sauce. The flavor isn’t nuanced but it’s straight forwardness is great for many dishes. This is the best sauce available for fried chicken or French fries. It’s generally good across the spectrum of American cuisine but lends itself particularly well to deep fried foods. The vinager and pepper cut the grease. The high sodium content isn’t noticeable in a way that makes the sauce taste salty. I don’t think the peppers are aged and there isn’t any noticeable smoky or aged flavor. It’s more of a clean straightforward cayenne, salt and vinegar taste that I like best for many applications.

    Heat:

It’s hotter than standard Texas Pete but keeps the same flavor. However, it isn’t a particularly hot sauce. Normal Texas Pete is just very mild. It can be used in very large amounts like ketchup by people who eat spices food kna normal basis. It has a good flavor. The only heat is derived from cayenne peppers. I would like to see an even spicier Texas Pete but I’m afraid it might ruin the clean straightforward flavor. Cayenne peppers are only so hot and only so many can fit in a bottle. Adding a more serious pepper would change the taste dramatically and it wouldn’t be Texas Pete anymore. It’s more of a tasty sauce with some heat than a really hot sauce

    Overall:

This is my favorite American hot sauce. It’s the best condiment for fried chicken or French fries. I highly recommend it. Needs to come out in a pour spout bottle like standard Texas Pete. Overall it’s awesome but unuanced. It’s a very straight forward cayenne, salt and vinegar sauce. It’s the best one around

    Label:

There is nothing on the label distinct from their regular hot sauce other than the “Hotter” name.

    Looks:

Very nice dark color with a slightly thicker texture.

    Aroma:

Smells great. Peppery and not toxic.

    Taste:

A mild peppery taste reminiscent of the Original Texas Pete but not overwhelmed with the higher heat.

    Heat:

The sauce has a significant increase in heat above Texas Pete’s original.

    Overall:

This is a very good sauce with food. A mild taste that won’t mask the flavor of your dish, but with an excellent burn. It will go well with both Asian and Latin cuisine. My video review may provide more details. https://youtu.be/iupzf5c7cCs
